Ovo je događaj koji se organizira za Umekov rođendan a prati posljednje glazbene novitete pa su ovaj put organizatori priredili spektakl na kojem su svirali elektronski glazbenici i oni orkestralnih glazbenih smjerova.
Na glavnom plesnom podiju izmjenjivali su se popularni DJ gosti, Sebastien leger, švedski techno majstor Christian Smith. Njegov poseban poklon te noći bio je remix Umekovog klasika "Lanicor", a set koji je odvrtio nešto je izvanposebno. Tradicionalno Dan Elektronike je završen nastupom domaćina Umeka. On je kao posljednju pjesmu izveo svoje viđenje, obradu Vivaldievog mjuzikla 4 godišnja doba. Pjesma je rezultat suradnje simfonijskog orkestra Slovenskog nacionalnog radija i Televizije. Je li ovaj rođendan i suradnja nagovještavaju novosti na slovenskoj glazbenoj sceni?
Sigurno je da će Televizija uskoro prikazivati isječke ovog događaja a suradnja sa simfonijskim orkestrom dala je svoj doprinos Danu Elektronike i pomogla ovom glazbenom pravcu da bude bliži i pristupačniji javnosti.
