Novi video grupe Depeche Mode režirao je Patrick Daughters, a o tome izboru David Gahan je rekao: „Razlog iz kojeg smo se odlučili da Patrick režira prvi video jednak je onome koji nas je naveo da „Wrong“ izaberemo kao prvi singl. Jednostavno, željeli smo napraviti spot koji će biti sasvim drugačiji od svih koje smo do sada radili.“
Zagreb, 05. ožujka 2009. – Otkada se pojavio u radijskom eteru diljem globusa, Wrong, prvi singl s nadolazećeg albuma Sounds Of The Universe, sigurno putuje prema vrhu top lista. No, kako se približava početak turneje, i njihov nastup 21. svibnja na Tuborg Green Festu 09 u zagrebačkoj Areni, Depeche Mode sve su aktivniji, te nas u nedjelju, 08. ožujka, u 17,40 na RTL televiziji očekuje i hrvatska premijera videa za Wrong.
Zašto baš Wrong kao najavni singl i prvi video? Martin Gore, koji je tu pjesmu i napisao, ovako objašnjava taj izbor: „Vrlo smo rano znali da će Wrong biti prvi singl jer je ta stvar potpuno drugačija od svega što smo do sada izdali. U toj pjesmi može se osjetiti rap, a vjerojatno smo tu bliži R&B zvuku no što ćemo ikad više biti“. Kao režiser spota pojavljuje se Patrick Daughters, poznat po spotovima koje je radio za Liarse, Kings of Leon i Feist. O toj odluci David Gahan je rekao: „Razlog iz kojeg smo se odlučili da Patrick režira prvi video jednak je onome koji nas je naveo da „Wrong“ izaberemo kao prvi singl.
