Jedan od najuzbudljivijih multikulturalnih festivala u središnoj Europi je Volt Festival . Održava se u mađarskom gradiću Sopron, koji leži odmah uz mađarsko-austrijsku granicu, 60-tak km od Beča. Kao headlineri ovog spektakla najavljuju se live nastup Laurent Garniera s bendom, zatim dolazak LTJ Bukema i MC Conrada, Freestylersa, Marilyn Mansona, Franz Ferdinanda. Osim što je domaćin ovog vrsnog događaja, Sopron ima slikovitu povijest.
Ovaj festival održava se već 16 godina u obližnjoj šumi.1993. je nastupalo 5 bendova a prisustvovalo je 800 posjetitelja. Danas Volt bilježi oko 70000 posjetitelja. Od 1. do 4. srpnja 2009.g. može se uživati na 10 plesnih podija slušajući oko 200 programa od koncerata do DJ gostovanja, kazališnih predstava, performansa, uživajući pritom u kavanama, pub-ovima i restoranima. Festival je skup različitih glazbenih pravaca od rocka, popa, jazza, hip-hopa, electra, techna itd.
