Nakon uspješne američke premijere održane na Doc Miami International film Festivalu u svibnju ove godine, “Astralis – institucija”, prvi dugometražni film mladog zagrebačkog redatelja Igora Neljaka, osvaja i New York International Independent Film and Video Festival, koji će se održati od 22. do 29.srpnja
The New York International Independent Film and Video Festival (NYIIFVF) je jedan od najvećih svjetskih nezavisnih filmskih festivala. Osnovan 1993. prepoznat je od strane filmske industrije kao vodeći događaj u svijetu nezavisnog filma. Festival ugošćuje film, glazbu i ostala umjetnička događanja.
Festivalski opus obuhvaća filmske djelatnike od početnika, poput Igora Neljaka, pa sve do priznatih umjetnika iz svijeta filma, te je do sada ugostio radove velikih imena kao što su Abel Ferrara, Andy Garcia, Calista Flockhart, Selma Blair, Ewan McGregor, Dominique Swain, Busy Phillips, Cameron Diaz, Christopher Walken, Daryl Hannah, Eva Herzigova, Guy Pearce, George Clooney, Jennifer Aniston, Matthew Modine, Rod Steiger, Tippi Hedren, Tony Danza, Willem Dafoe i mnogi drugi….
