Exhibition Open Air Festival pokraj Varaždina 24. lipnja
8th Exhibition, openair event koji raste iz godine u godinu, održat će se u utorak, 24. lipnja 2008., dan prije Dana državnosti RH, na atraktivnoj lokaciji jezera i rekreacijskog centra Totomore u mjestu Totovec pokraj Varaždina. Riječ je o projektu koji i ove godine, zahvaljujući visokoj organizacijskoj razini, dovodi zvučna imena, desetak renomiranih domaćih i inozemnih izvođača i DJ-a, među kojima se posebno izdvaja Robert Babicz aka Rob Acid, virtuoz elektronske glazbene produkcije.
Na čarobnoj, već provjerenoj lokaciji jezera Totomore, nastupe vrsnih glazbenika pratit će visual art performanse, što uključuje izvrstan sound-sistem, svjetlosne instalacije, plesne izvedbe. Glavna atrakcija bit će live-nastup Roberta Babicza, koji prvi put gostuje u Hrvatskoj. Starijim generacijama poznat i kao Rob Acid, jedan je od pionira elektronske acid house scene u Njemačkoj. Od svojih prvih produkcija, 90-ih, do danas u okviru brojnih projekata nanizao je stotinjak vinyl/cd izdanja i remixa raznih stilova – od eksperimentalne ambijentalne glazbe na tragu Karla-Heinza Stockhausena do klupskih rave acid himni za Svena Vatha.

Njegov album "A Cheerful Temper", objavljen 2007. za izdavačku kuću Systematic, koji je kritika ocijenila izvrsnim, rezimira njegov dosadašnji rad i kristalno čist zvuk na najvišoj razini kao pravo malo elektroničko remek-djelo u kojem prelama glazbene stilove tech-elektronike i klasičnog house zvuka. Da bi dobio taj specifični zvuk, koristi unikatne i modificirane glazbene strojeve. Softverske tvrtke Native Instruments i Steinberg služe se njegovim programerskim vještinama u stvaranju novih kolekcija zvukova, a usluge njegova vrhunskog glazbenog studija koriste i mnogi svjetski poznati izvođači te izdavačke kuće. Riječju, Robertovo je ime sinonim za vrhunsku mastering i postprodukcijsku uslugu. Uz Babicza, svirat će njemački DJ-i Pierce, Marcus Wesen i Patrick Twirdy, izvrstan hrvatski produkcijski dvojac Shuma, Royce i Mystic iz Slovenije, te domaće snage – DJ-i Yapa, Dennie, Nitevision, Fibo, Nino i nezaobilazni video-umjetnik Eyemolester, koji daje prepoznatljiv pečat čitavom događanju.
